The Muscat Bailey A vineyard, which is made of old trellised vines, is stony and well-drained. Grown using only organic pesticides, without any insecticides or herbicides, the grapes were harvested in late October when the skins turn black and the temperature drops significantly. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine was aged for seven months in wooden barrels (Tronçais French oak) before being bottled. The wine has a concentrated red fruit flavor, fine tannins, and an elegant and gorgeous aroma and flavor from aging in French oak barrels, which adds to its complex flavor.
The name of the wine, "Nonde Kenegas," is also in Yamagata dialect. It is a more polite way of saying it than "Nonde Kerosu."
