Mr. Takahashi, who works at the post office and farms on weekends, is striving to preserve his late father's vineyard in Uenodai, Nanyo City. This wine was made from the Delaware grapes he inherited from his father, specifically "Aodella" (green Delaware) which is harvested before full ripeness. He has long been fascinated by the acidity of Aodella, and has explored a wide range of acidic wines using Aodella from Yamagata Okitama, thus pioneering the "Aodella" category. By contract farming Aodella in Nanyo City, he aims to further explore the "Japonese" character that emerges from this category. This is the first time he has produced this wine in four years since 2020, and he is very pleased with its pleasant lactic notes. He hopes that this will be seen as a new prologue for Aodella. It truly embodies "Seishun kayo" (Is this youth?). Yes, that's exactly what he named it.
