We want Japanese people, and especially people from overseas, to experience Japan through this wine. Your glass saves agriculture, farmers, and the planet.

Compared to the scorching heat of 2011, the hours of sunshine and temperatures in 2012 felt slightly lower.
Due to heavy rain before harvest, the ripeness was a little low, so we were looking forward to seeing what kind of unique characteristics the fruit would express.
Personally, I feel that this year's wine shows the unique character of Hokujun better than the 2011 vintage, which could be considered overripe.
Also, this year, thanks to the generosity of Alfiore, we were able to slowly age the wine in amphorae, which we feel has resulted in a wonderful wine made from 100% Hokujun.
