Cuvee des Amis is a high-end series made from carefully selected grapes by a wine grower we know.
As this sake is unfiltered, it may be cloudy or contain sediment (floating particles, etc.). *As this is an unfiltered sake, please store it in a cool, dark place.

Merlot from Kaminoyama City, Yamagata Prefecture is cold macerated, then the fermentation temperature is slowly raised and the wine is fermented for about 30 days to bring out the full flavor. It is then aged in French oak barrels for 24 months, resulting in a complex, deep flavor.
This dry red wine has a rich fruitiness and powerful tannins, and has a concentrated flavor that harmonizes the aroma of fruits such as blackberries and plums with the aroma of spices and cocoa.
In 2021, we were blessed with very good weather from September to October, which allowed us to brew wine from healthy, ripe grapes than ever before.
