Small, highly ripe Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes are grown under contract and each is aged in small batches.
2020 was a perfect year, with favourable weather and extremely ripe grapes.
The nose has plum-like characteristics from ripe grapes, combined with vanilla and toasty aromas from the casks.
This wine has a firm structure and powerful tannins.
This wine pairs well with red meat dishes such as sukiyaki, beef stew, teriyaki Wagyu hamburger, and lamb steak, as well as strong-flavored sausages such as chorizo.

Made from grapes grown in Takabatake, Yamagata Prefecture. 73.3% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 4.7% Petit Verdot.
