This Junmai Daiginjo sake is made from "Yuki-Megami," a rice variety suitable for sake brewing that Yamagata Prefecture takes pride in, polished to 50%.
BUONO means "delicious" or "wonderful" in Italian.
Brewed using the same techniques as the sakes entered in the tasting competition, it has a mellow, slightly dry finish that directly conveys the flavor of the rice, making it a versatile sake that brings out the best in fish and meat as it is enjoyed with meals.
