"Marora" is a sake that utilizes malolactic fermentation (MLF) technology, which converts malic acid into lactic acid.
This was abbreviated to "Marora."
This will be the first sake made using MLF to be commercialized in Japan (and the world).
The lactic acid bacteria convert the malic acid contained in the alcohol into lactic acid.
It contains delicious acidity when warmed, so you can enjoy it at a variety of temperatures depending on the occasion.
Yamagata Masamune sake has a strong structure and mineral taste, giving it a manly feel.
This "Marora" has a strong, gentle and soft acidity, and the quality of the sake is like a classic Masamune simmered under a feather duvet.
The aroma and aftertaste are gorgeous and somewhat elegant, with a charming sweet and sour taste.
