"Marora" is a sake that utilizes "malolactic fermentation (MLF)" technology, which converts malic acid into lactic acid.
It was named "Marora" as an abbreviation.
This is the first commercial sake in Japan (and in the world) to utilize MLF.
Due to the action of lactic acid bacteria, the malic acid contained in the sake changes into lactic acid.
It contains a delicious acid that tastes good when warmed, so you can enjoy it at various temperatures depending on the occasion.
While Yamagata Masamune sake often has a strong masculine character with a firm structure and minerality,
"Marora" has a powerful, gentle, and soft acidity, like wrapping the classic Masamune in a down comforter.
The aroma on the nose and palate is elegant and subtly dignified, with a charming sweetness and acidity.
