"Namazake" (unpasteurized sake) is commonly referred to as "Natsu-Nama" when freshly brewed sake from winter is aged for several months at the brewery without pasteurization. The vibrant and fun label design, featuring colorful seasonal summer vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, corn, and edamame, evokes the perfect pairing with namazake and its appetizing, nutritious qualities.
With a subtle ginjo aroma, a gentle sweetness and umami of rice spread across the palate, followed by a crisp finish. Its firm body and rich flavor make it an excellent match for rich sauces, such as mayonnaise mixed with a little miso! On hot and humid summer evenings, enjoy it with chilled tomatoes or vegetable sticks made from cucumbers and carrots.
