“Rissun Asashibori” is an annual event held every year at the beginning of spring by member stores of the Japan Prestigious Sake Association.
The ultimate freshly squeezed Namazake, which starts bottling pre-ordered quantities at dawn on the first day of spring, and ships out from the brewery on the same day.
Immediately after the sake was released from the brewery, it was purified at the local Hachiman Shrine, and prayers were given for good health, family safety, and business prosperity for everyone involved in the event, including those who made it, those who carried it, and those who drank it. It is an auspicious drink.
