The treasure found by Mitsuo and the farmer

Yamakawa Mitsuo is an ambitious unit formed by four brewers in Yamagata Prefecture.
It was named after each letter of the brand name and breathed life into it.
(Yamagata Masamune, Tatenogawa, Toko, Otokoyama)

Mitsuo and the farmer were looking at a small grain on the ground. It turned out to be an ancient variety of rice called "Soubei Wase"!
The two of them were so excited about using this to revive the old-fashioned alcohol that they couldn't help but smile.
Using our own yeast from the brewery, we have revived the sake from when we were founded into the present day through the traditional Edo period two-stage brewing method. Please enjoy a sip while thinking back to the end of the Edo period in 1832!
