Yamakawa Mitsuo is a unit formed by four brewers in Yamagata Prefecture. They were named after one letter of each of their brands and breathed life into the group. (Yamagata Masamune, Tatenogawa, Toko, and Otokoyama)
In 2024, Yamakawa Mitsuo travels between different eras. "Aki" was inspired by the koji ratio around 1761. The label depicts a fired-up Yamakawa Mitsuo making more koji than usual. Masu.
A 13% alcohol brewed with Dewasansan rice from Yamagata Prefecture. Inspired by the fact that the koji ratio during the Horeki period (around 1761) was in the 30% range, we brewed it with a higher koji ratio. It has a rich flavor.
