This wine was carefully crafted using Muscat Bailey A grapes grown under contract in Asahi Town, Yamagata Prefecture, undergoing cold maceration (soaking at low temperatures for a certain period before fermentation) to maximize the fruit's flavor.
It was aged for 11 months in French oak barrels, then bottled and aged for over a year in the bottle.
This pleasant wine offers the elegant aroma of Muscat Bailey A, red fruit flavors like raspberry and wild strawberry, spicy notes from the barrel, and a lingering finish with fine tannins.
