This wine is a blend of Muscat Bailey A (50%), Black Queen (25%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (25%) grapes from Yamagata Prefecture. It was aged in French oak barrels, and then meticulously selected from over 140 barrels before being bottled unfiltered and unpasteurized. It is a rich, fruity, full-bodied red wine.
Awards: Japan Wine Competition 2014 Gold Medal, 2015 & 2018 Silver Medals, served at the 2016 G7 Ise-Shima Summit.
