This wine is 100% Muscat Bailey A from 80-year-old vines, aged in oak barrels.
Bailey A grapes are known for their vibrant color and elegant aroma. This wine is both powerful and delicate.
The Muscat Bailey A vines, now approximately 80 years old, were planted by Shigezaburo Takeda, the third generation of our family, and have been carefully nurtured by the current fifth generation. These old vines, which bring a deep flavor to the wine, are exceptionally rare both in Japan and internationally at 80 years of age. The fact that we can maintain such ancient, healthy vines is due to our continuous grape cultivation and winemaking since our establishment in 1920, supported by our 15-hectare estate vineyard (practicing natural farming). Please enjoy the powerful and profound taste created by the age of the vines, in addition to the splendid aroma of the Bailey A.
