The Muscat Bailey A vines, planted by our third-generation owner Jusaburo Takeda, are now approximately 80 years old and have been carefully nurtured by the current fifth generation. While old vines bring depth to wine, vines as old as 80 years are rare both in Japan and internationally. The ability to maintain healthy grapevines for such a long period is attributed to our 15-hectare estate vineyard (cultivated using natural farming methods) and our continuous grape cultivation and winemaking since our establishment in 1920. Please enjoy the elegant aroma of Bailey A, along with the powerful and complex flavors produced by the age of the vines.
