Aged in barrels from our own vineyard, Black Queen, which is approximately 50 years old.
The result is a luxurious wine with deep vitality.
The Black Queen variety was planted by Shigenobu Takeda, the fourth generation of our company, and has been carefully cultivated to this day by the fifth generation. The Black Queen variety has a deep flavor, but there are few growers, and it is rare to have a tree that is as old as 50 years. The reason why we are able to maintain the health of our vines over such a long period of time is because we have had our own 15 hectare farm (grown using natural farming methods) since our founding in 1920, and have continued to grow grapes and make wine. In addition to the powerful aroma and taste of the Black Queen variety, please enjoy the mature and deep flavor created by the age of the tree.
