The third sparkling fruit liqueur using apples (Kurashi). This variety was developed by Mito Kyuichiro, a former toji (master brewer) at the brewery. By grafting a plum onto an apple, they were able to develop an apple that is surprisingly sweet and full of nectar. We will explore the possibility of using this apple as an ingredient for cider!
