2024 Delaware Orange (Collection Vin Petitant) [BV2024.10]
2024 Delaware Orange (Collection Vin Petitant) [BV2024.10]
Collection Vin Petillant is a series of sparkling wines that allow you to experience the taste of grapes in a straightforward way. Fermentation takes place in the bottle, and the bubbles produced by the yeast are trapped inside, resulting in cloudiness and sediment, allowing you to experience the various flavors derived from the grapes. As the wine is prone to overflowing, please chill it thoroughly and then open it slowly over a sink or bowl while releasing the gas. In addition, since it is unfiltered, it may be cloudy or have sediment (floating particles, etc.), but these are ingredients derived from grapes, so you can enjoy it with peace of mind.
Petillant is an orange wine made from nucleated Delaware grapes from Yamagata Prefecture, which are fermented in the bottle after fermentation. This dry Petillant has a harmonious blend of the gorgeous sweet aroma and refreshing acidity that is unique to Delaware, and a slight astringency from fermentation. We recommend that you start by tasting the clear top layer, and then gradually mix in the sediment as you drink. The taste will change depending on how much sediment is mixed in.
