Using ripe Muscat Bailey A from the Koana district of Kaminoyama City, Yamagata Prefecture, the flavor is thoroughly extracted, then aged in barrels for 14 months (50% new American oak barrels, 50% old French oak barrels), and 21 months after bottling. Bottle aging (as of September 2023) has resulted in a complex and deep flavor. A fruity red wine with smooth tannins and rich acidity, with aromas of red and black fruits harmonized with vanilla and roasted aromas from the barrel.
