Tatenogawa pure rice brewing sake from the finest rice seven star flag
The origin of the name, the seven-star flag, is the military flag raised by the second battalion of the Shonai clan during the Boshin War. This flag with the Big Dipper placed upside down was also called Hagunseiki. It is said that the corps achieved success in successive victories, and Genba Sakai, who led it, was known as a feared and feared commander, called Kigenba by the new government army.
It expresses the desire to pass on the history and climate of the local Shonai region to future generations in the form of sake. Dewa Sansan grown under contract in the Shonai Plain is carefully polished to 7%, and brewed with the best of techniques.
