Yamakawa Mitsuo is an ambitious unit formed by four breweries in Yamagata Prefecture. The name is derived from one character from each brand name, bringing the unit to life.

In celebration of Yamakawa Mitsuo's momentous tenth anniversary, it has been a year of festivities and expressing gratitude to everyone. However, the celebratory mood concludes with this occasion. To mark a fresh start for the next ten years, Mitsuo-san is breaking a kusudama made from a cedar ball and pledging to brew even better sake. We sincerely look forward to your continued support!

This Junmai Daiginjo sake uses 100% contracted rice from the Kashiwagura Monden district of Yamagata City. In celebration of the 10th anniversary, it is brewed with Yeast No. 10.
