The 16th year was the last harvest of the oldest Merlot that I had watched for many years. From 2017, it will be a new Merlot blend. The age of the tree has increased, and the cultivation method has improved with each vintage. 2017 was the year when we were able to harvest all Merlots with a sour taste.The fresh and light taste is likely to be drunk without worrying about the temperature range from cold to room temperature. It goes well with red meat, root vegetables such as burdock, and mountain vegetables such as butterbur.
